Murdoch University
In 1974, Murdoch University started its operations as Western Australia’s second university. It is named after Sir Walter Murdoch, one of the best writers, essayists, and educators from Australia. The university still upholds Sir Walter Murdoch’s values of free thinking, accessible education, and inclusiveness.
Murdoch has whatever you expect from one of the world’s best universities, alongside some extra features. The Murdoch campus in Perth has a wetland, a farm, veterinary services, and an array of wildlife. Bush Court is where Murdoch holds its activities and events, including Thursday market stalls during the academic term, so international students often have something informative and entertaining to look forward to here.
Murdoch University offers programs in study areas such as Business, Humanities and Social Sciences, Creative Arts and Communications, Engineering, Health, Law and Criminology, Science, Technology, and Teaching. Each of these study areas has bachelor’s, honours, and master’s courses.
